Bosch Luys Kloof offers overnight guests the opportunity to enjoy everything the Reserve has to offer. The development also presents itself for special functions, weddings, conferences, etc.

Lifestyle and Décor

The earthy and natural décor at Bosch Luys Kloof is more about life style, not just style - almost a way of life. Our love of the earth, the soil, wood, stone, old weathered artifacts inspired the décor of Bosch Luys Kloof that flows all the way through the Lodge, Chalets and garden and is very much our own.

Many people today long to get in touch with nature through contact with raw materials such as sand, stone, wood, leather, metal, etc. which form the basis of natural decorating. Its unpretending uniqueness creates a homely and simplified but in a way elevated lifestyle. The increasingly demanding and “electromagnetic charged” world of today asks for an escape to another lifestyle - to connect with Earth and its natural inspiration.

Bosch Luys Kloof attempts to provide a living space, a refuge for relaxation and rejuvenation - in comfort and privacy and close to Mother Earth. We believe in the incomparable beauty of nature and environment sometimes to be found in small things - timeless, raw, simplistic but beautiful.

Weddings (Maximum 36-50 persons)

Bosch Luys Kloof can accommodate small private and special functions for weddings, second weddings, reaffirmations, etc. Guests stay over with a weekend package and a personalized program is developed around all the facilities and activities of Bosch Luys Kloof. Bookings of 30 and more guests enjoy exclusive use of all the facilities.

Conferences, Break-away, Planning sessions, etc.
(Maximum 36 Persons)

Bosch Luys Kloof offers a conference venue equipped with a data projector, white board, flip chart etc. Tea and Coffee are served in the Conference venue.

Meals are served at the Lodge, picnics in the veldt, etc. Weekend or midweek packages can be arranged. Partners are welcome and enjoy the tranquility, swimming pool, Salon, nature drives/walks etc.

A program is planned to suite each group. At least 24 guests (e.g. 12 plus partners) are required to get exclusive use of the Reserve and all the facilities.

Other

Following is a short description of the buildings and facilities on Bosch Luys Kloof.

• The Main Building

  The Main Building includes a reception area, dining area, lounge, salon, bar, pool deck and pool.

  

• The Guest units (Chalets) comprise

  1. Five double units, with open plan living and sleeping areas plus an additional private bedroom. Each bedroom has en-suite facilities. The units also have verandas and open air showers. Ideal for 4 people.
  2. Four single units with open plan living and sleeping area, as above, but without the additional bedroom. The units offer comfortable and spacious accommodation for 2 people.
  3. A Guesthouse with four en suite bedrooms, shared living area, dining area and spacious veranda with truly beautiful views.
  4. Altogether there are 18 double bedrooms available that can accommodate groups of up to 36 guests.
  

• Conference and Wedding Centre

  The hall is private and separate from the Lodge and truly “in the bush” with its own amenities. The centre can seat up to 50 guests.

  

• Dining area and Bar

  Outstanding meals are served in the dining area. Our resident chef created authentic menus that promises some unique tasting experiences to guests. The three meals per day will be a most enjoyable experience.
  The bar area is a special gathering point for guests, with a wooden deck overlooking the bush, a waterhole and pool area.

• The Salon

  The Salon offers guests an opportunity to enjoy various relaxation therapies in a calm private ambience. Organic products are used for the therapies.
